PRE-GAME INTERVIEW DT VS DF PART2 FT. Prm
One of the longest matches of UnitedBase history was played between PF and DF last cup, at a similarly late stage of the competition. Since then Pokerfaces has been transformed into Dreamteam and they have already met in the group stages, but both captains expect something just as close game as last cup’s playoff. Let’s hear what Prm has to say about it!
Do you analyze game stats in your team? If yes, what stats and how do you use them?
prm: “We don’t care about stats.”
How are your team preparing for games? What is the general process and what differs to certain opponents?
prm: “Not really preparing anything special. We just refresh nades and talk about last games – things that worked / didn’t work.”
What do you think of Dreamteam, your next opponent? What do you think are the key factors to beat them?
prm: “Focus on our game and our strengths will be key. Game will be a mess and clown fiesta I feel like.”
How do you look back on the previous game between your teams? What are the key learnings that you are going to focus much more from that experience?
prm: “Playoffs are different than group games. Especially because you can pick your fav maps. Dreamteam were in a good shape that day.”
Archimedes has put up some good performances in the past, but he is still somewhat underrated. Currently he is 18th in the total All-Star Ranking only 0,01 point behind nana. Describe his role and what makes him perform so well?
prm: “Archi underrated? Who would underrate him? He’s a beast, especially close range and in clutches. We let him play close range spots and use it as a weapon.”
Can’t help to talk about the elephant in the room. Can you please explain us what has changed in your role in the team since the last cups? Are you on purpose stepped into a more support role? Last cups you were a consistent regular in the top5-10 regarding stats, and currently you are out of the top 30 this cup.
prm: “Nana stepped down as our IGL and I’ve stepped up. I was always a support player in our vCoD Team LEMAGIC. Our team got enough fire power, so it doesn’t really matter frag wise. Just a change of roles.”
What can we expect from your game against Dreamteam? Can you please make a score prediction?
prm: “No idea. Will probably be a clown fiesta. 2-1 Darkfall.”
After overcoming Darkfall in the group stage I think Dreateam has the psychological edge over their opponent. I expect both teams to win their own maps, and give us an entertaining close 3rd one, it will be one for the books again.
